A ?si= suffix, an /intl-de/ segment and a spotify:track:… URI all work exactly as they are. Two pastes do not: a URL containing /search/ is the page you were browsing rather than the song on it, and a private playlist cannot be read at all — in Spotify, three dots → Make public, convert, then set it back.

This is what the 320 kbps figure cannot tell you. The bitrate describes the encoder; it says nothing about whether the audio found is the studio take you wanted rather than a live version, a remaster with a different runtime, or a cover. Thirty seconds of listening settles that, and nothing lands on your disk until you press “Save this track”.
One honest limit. Playing a row that has not been fetched yet fetches it, so it counts against the one-a-press and 300-a-day figures exactly as a download does. Listening is free of files, not free of the quota.

What bitrate are the MP3 files, and how big are they?
320 kbps, every file, with no setting to change. A four-minute song lands around 9 MB, so a 12-track album is roughly 110 MB and a 100-track playlist near 900 MB. One caveat worth one sentence: 320 kbps is what the encoder writes, and a file cannot end up better than the recording it was matched from.
Can I hear the MP3 before saving it?
Yes — press play on any row and the player plays the converted file itself at full length, not a thirty-second preview. Nothing is written to your disk until you press “Save this track”. It is the only way to tell a studio take from a live version or a remaster before the file lands. Playing an unfetched row does fetch it, so it counts against the daily figure like a download.
Can I get FLAC, WAV or a lossless copy?
No. MP3 at 320 kbps is the only output here, and no browser-based converter gives you genuine lossless whatever it says on the button. If you need FLAC, you need a paid desktop application that records the stream in real time.
Why is there no format picker?
Because MP3 is the one format that plays everywhere — car head units, cheap MP3 players, old iPods, every phone made in the last twenty years. M4A is a marginally better codec at the same bitrate and also the file a car stereo made before roughly 2010 refuses to play.
Can I convert one Spotify song without taking the whole playlist?
Yes. Paste a track link and you get that one row and one file. Paste a playlist or album link and every track appears with a checkbox, so a single song out of a 60-track playlist is one tick and one press.
Are ID3 tags and cover art included?
Yes. Title, artist, album and the track number the song carries on its own album are written into every file, with the cover embedded at 640 px. Where synced lyrics exist the finished row also offers a .lrc file under the same name.
My car stereo mounts the USB drive but shows no music.
Reformat the drive as FAT32 rather than exFAT. A large share of head units silently refuse exFAT: the drive mounts, shows nothing, and you conclude the files are broken. Keep one folder per album, since many units cannot handle a flat directory of 300 files.
How do I keep the playlist order on a car stereo or MP3 player?
Number the files. Those devices sort by filename, and files here are named “Artist - Title.mp3” with no position prefix. Select them in order and batch-rename with a number prefix — F2 in Windows Explorer, or Finder’s Rename → Format → Name and Index on macOS. In a library manager you do not need to: those read the ID3 track number.
My Android player cannot see the files.
Move them from Downloads into the Music folder. Most Android players index Music and ignore Downloads, which is why people conclude a download failed when it did not. If the player still shows nothing, trigger a media rescan in its settings.
The cover art is not showing in my player.
The cover is embedded in the file at 640 × 640, so the file is fine — some players cache the old blank artwork. Clear the player’s cache, or remove and re-add the folder to its library.
Only the first file saved, or the job stopped halfway.
Your browser blocked the rest, or the tab was backgrounded. Press again and allow “download multiple files”, then leave the tab open — mobile Chrome and Safari both stop saving if you navigate away mid-run. Tracks that already finished return in seconds.
Can I convert Spotify music to MP3 on a phone?
Yes — the same page in mobile Chrome or Safari, with no app to install. Two things differ. Your browser asks once whether this site may save several files, and it asks early in a multi-track job. And on iPhone the files land in the Files app rather than the Music app.
