Put something specific in the subject line. With one reader and no queue, that’s what decides reading order. There’s no phone number, no live chat, no postal counter, and no second email address. The one above is the only way in. Anything claiming otherwise isn’t me.
Reporting a download that went wrong
Send these two things with your report. They’re what the server needs to reproduce the problem, and a report that has them usually gets answered in one reply.
- The Spotify link you pasted — the whole thing. The id inside it is what everything here is keyed on. A track title alone is usually not enough to find the same recording twice.
- What the row said. A failed track leaves a reason on its row instead of vanishing. That sentence is the most useful thing you can send. A screenshot is fine.
Two things get reported a lot and neither is a bug. A missing track is usually a failed match, not a fault; the home page explains why that happens and what each reason means. Wrong artwork or an odd title you can usually fix without waiting for me. The album art tool pulls the full-size cover on its own.
One thing I can’t do from this address is add a recording. There’s no catalogue here to add it to. If a track can’t be matched, no public source is carrying it, and an email doesn’t change that.
Privacy and data requests
Send requests about your own data to the address above. The privacy policy has the timetable, and lists what’s held and for how long. Read it first. The site may never have collected the thing you were about to ask about.
What to expect when you write
There’s no autoresponder, so a day of silence just means I haven’t got to it yet. Mail is answered expeditiously and in practice within a few days. Copyright notices follow the process in the takedown policy. An incomplete request never gets silently dropped. The reply tells you what’s missing, so you can finish in the same thread instead of starting again.
